Privacy policy

Last updated: November 2026

This policy explains what information WhatsWattWorth collects and how it's used. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account and we don't collect your name or contact details on this site. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits. These do not identify you personally.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links tracked by the Awin affiliate network. When you click one, the company you visit and the affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from us, so we can be credited if you go on to request a quote or buy something. Their use of your data is covered by their own privacy policies.

If you request a quote through a partner, you give your details directly to that partner, not to us.

Advertising

We may show ads in future through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. If we do, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before any non-essential advertising cookies are set.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact us at hello@whatswattworth.com.
